To have a better understanding of its different types, Couplings and adaptors can be categorized into two primary groups - dedicated and universal, which can then be divided into tensile and non-tensile varieties, resulting into four main categories.

Fixed cone valves are used to pass a controlled amount of water downstream without harming the immediate surroundings due to its qualities that dissipate energy. The valve body is designed to operate with minimum vibration over its full stroke and used specially shaped aerodynamically designed ribs leading to a downstream cone.

Knife gate valves are primarily intended for isolation and on/off functions in systems that have a high suspended solids concentration. Knife gate valves are particularly useful for managing viscous, corrosive, and abrasive media especially for slurry handling. The valve are lighweight, easy to operate, have a minimal pressure loss when fully open, and are cost-effective.

We are proud to introduce our newly developed, fully welded double eccentric butterfly valves. They come in DN150-DN1400 with IP67 and IP68 gear for underground installations.

AVK manufactures double eccentric butterfly valve in DN150 to DN3200 designed with tilted and fixated disc for extended service life and easy operation. The disc seal is made of AVK's drinking water approved EPDM rubber featuring an excellent compression set and thus the ability to regain its original shape. The DVGW/WRAS approved epoxy coating and fully encapsulated shaft/disc connection ensure high durability. The valves are suitable for bi-directional application.
